RIP Remi xx

Remi sadly died today...she was my dogs best friend..especially Cola, who she knew since a puppy! Remi didnt use to like Cola as she bite her when she was little (but then Cola was being a naughty puppy) but from the start Cola loved her to bits...

We have known Remi (an Irish Terrier) for 8yrs when Pepsi met her at obedience training! lol and agility training! and she will be solely missed from our family and from her owners too and of course her best friend and companion Holly! Run free little girl xx lots of love

Xmas is over! woohoo

Phew thank goodness Xmas is over...im not scrooge really! lol....we had lovely walks on common, which is now very wet as everything is melting!! ahhh...Cola has been very good walking with Breda's dogs who she had not met before and there's 5 of them! and of course Rupert and Max! as for Hoochi he is going backwards...really struggling with walking, just very lethargic and not interested in walking at all...so hoping we can get xrays done this week (hate BH as everything is shut!!) and he has also been bad at night the last 3 nights so something not right...he needs to start getting back to normal now as he is only 3yrs and this has gone on long enough now for my liking!

Lets hope 2011 is better than 2010! mind u that wouldnt be hard!! lol

Xmas is nearly here!

Wow only week to go...luckily i dont have to do anything this year as sis is going to Cuba for xmas, bro is with his new wife and parents are staying put!! so now i have to decide what i am going to cook for xmas dinner and buy pressie for myself!! ha ha doesnt that sound sad! Hooch and Cola have pressie bought just need to find something for Peps...will take her to Pets at home where she can pick out what she wants!! no doubt it will b food! lol...

Update on Hoochi...he is still on steriods...we have tried twice now to take him off the drug for alternate days but its not working at mo so he is now going down to just over 1mg per day and see if this works...he is ok at mo but im not convinced that this is working as how long will he need to be on steriods! mmmm on another note i am really struggling with his contacts and have now decided to teach him a running contact on the a frame as he really doesnt like stopping at the bottom and leave the dog walk as a touch stop as he gets it there!! will use a hoop and target but further away from the bottom so that he is running up the contact and down instead of stopping at the top and bunny hopping down...which doesnt look very natural for him...if he misses some then i think this is what is going to happen for the mo...

Peps is getting stiffer every day think the athritus is kicking in now...she is on Yumove but is getting lame on her front leg..im not worrying about it as she still wants to go for walks and chase deer so she is happy... as for Cola touch wood she has been great the last couple of years....phew...loves her walks and toys!

All my woofs love to walk on water well ice!! especially Cola she is brilliant at ice skating and loves nothing more than to skid everywhere and roll on her back!! this is a very shallow pond so no worries if they happened to fall in!!

Andy & Rachel Wedding - Leeds Castle

Wow amazing place to get married...photos of parents, my bro and his new wife!! we were very lucky with the weather but it was cold and i was pleased i took my coat! lol it only came off at dinner and photos!

Back training...woohoo

Hoochi is now back training...after 2 sessions with Merrissa (chiro)...think he misses it just as much as me...we are back doing grid work at Pachesham...which i am not wholly convinced it works but only time will tell...managed to practise his contacts which was great...but then went over to Ian's side and we were both rubbish and i even got asked what grade i was in as we were not gelling at all! just shows what 2 weeks away does for me and Hooch! lol...

Other news...spent last week going for coffees with mum as she was visiting from Cornwall...mind u she has to come back in a weeks time for my bros wedding! omg still have to get shoes yet as i only own trainers and wellies!! lol

Very strange not going to shows but it is a great time to retrain contacts etc...and catch up with non agility friends! mind u they are slowly disappearing as you just dont have time during the summer months to socialise with them...think might have to take up pottery or something to do during the winter! lol...or life drawing! thats always fun to do...3 yrs at uni definately prepares you for the naked body! hee hee

Hee hee...as u can see there is a little man missing from the piccies!! thats cause i am carrying him...lol as he is not allowed any exercise for 2 days! We took woofs to West Wittering today and as the weather forecast was rain ...we were surprised by having sunshine the whole day!...peps loved the sea and cola loved sniffing under the beach huts!! no shes not a jack russel x at all!!! Took sandwiches and flask of tea and of course cake!! nice day and good to spend the time with mum (visiting from cornwall!)

No training for week!

Hoochi went back to the chiro this morning...as he was still not 100% and Merrissa confirmed this to say he was 60% fixed she had hoped he would be 90%! Alot of work was done on him last week and as she said he was a very bent dog when she saw him!! lol...i wont tell anyone little man! Good news was that his pelvis is fine all staying in place...his back was still not straight so this was worked on...no exercise for 2 days basically nothing till weekend! and no training this week as Merissa doesnt want to see me again next week! charming lol....she did also say that if his spine was straight and he was still doing this skipping on one back leg that it may be his stifle (knee) and i would have to take him to vets...fingers crossed its not as that would mean xrays etc...more cost...

Mum is coming up from cornwall today so we are off to West wittering tomorrow...woohoo Peps will love the beach...will mean Hooch will have to sit in car with mum! lets hope the weather is ok..ill try and remember camera this time!

Stour Valley and catch up!

Wow all over now for another year!! what am i now going to do with myself all weekend!!! We have had highs and lows this year but it was fab to win out of grade 4 (my goal for 2010), extra wow when we won into grade 6...now alot of work to do over the winter...

Stour Valley was our last camping weekend...fab weather yet again and lovely venue...Hooch was running ok but had 2 poles down on the sat which was worrying as he never has poles! Sun we managed a 3rd in his g3-5 jumping which was nice...i had already got Hooch booked in with the chiro when we returned home...which i was pleased about as yet again he was a shape of a banana and he was straightened and hips put back! lol...u do worry running such a little dog as how much permanent damage am i doing to him! He is still doing a 'John Wayne' walk (which thankfully Merrisa, chiro, understood what i was talking about!) lol so i think he might need to go back...his agility has not been affected at training so it may b something else going on!

Like Hannah i am getting ready for my bro's wedding in 3 weeks!! ahhhh ...me in a dress how does that work! and yes i will be wearing a dress...ha ha dont worry will have the photos to prove it! lol...Leeds Castle here we come!

Hoochi goes Grade 6!!

Wow...lovely venue, thanks Prestbury Park, fab trophies and great company...what more can you ask for??? well a bl...dy miracle happened on saturday...I walked the g5-7 agility and thought mmm this is going to be interesting as there were soo many traps and was just gunna see if we could get our contacts! ha ha...past the pull throughs and go rounds and missed obstacles to find myself clear up to dog walk and jump home...i will say how i managed to get my contact i dont know...i finished the run and heard clapping behind me (the judge!) so i turned to the scrimer and asked did i go clear?? and the response YES! woohooo i was delighted our first agility clear round all year...now i decided to go back at the end of the grades and we were still in the lead...most of the people had got eliminated...to say i was happy was an understatement but then the penny dropped and i would now have to compete with the grade 7's!! ahh at least i have all winter to get our contacts solid...my little man grade 6 who would have thought it :) xx

Well Ramsey is an absolute nutter if he was a collie everyone would want him...lol he climbs everything and balances on clothes driers, likes looking at himself in the mirror, and flies around the house at top speed! hes the size of small toy but cracks you up...my sis picked him up last sunday from Jane's house in Devon and luckily he slept all the way home on her friends knee! he settled in straight away and has even found his spot on the bed next to Chelsea (my sis other cat)...here are some piccies
