Lansdown Show - crap agility but brill venue

Gr8 weather, company, venue and weekend...shame about the agility!! Hooch managed 4 eliminations! he has now decided that he doesnt need to listen to me anymore and knows where he is going!! very very frustrating i took him out of 3 runs and barely finished another...this is something that i have never had to do before so i think it is time to stamp on him (not literally) and make him more accountable for his actions! here are some piccies though...

Beware Adders about!!

Ahhhh went for a walk on sat with Dawn and her 2 woofs (the ones that came to stay!) and stopped to wait for Remi i happened to look down and there was a baby adder!!!! ahhh grabbed the dogs collars as Hooch was just about to step over it! apparently the baby adders have the same amount of venom in them as the adults! I am quite wary as Cola was bitten badly by one 2yrs ago and ended up staying at the vets etc...and swelling up like a balloon...so take care as the adders are definately out there especially on the commons! no photo as i was too rushed to get woofs out of the way but Dawn did take some cracking piccies on her phone!

Look who came to stay!

I had two additions this weekend to my woofs...my friends 14yrs Irish Terrier and 12yrs Otterhound (both on the breed endangered list!)...they were very well behaved but im just not used to walking two oldies...it was literally like doing snails pace...so in the end i walked them with my oldie Peps! lol who she seemed to love it.

Sat i was intending on taking all dogs to Dartford show but with the weather being soo warm decided on missing my early run and hoping to do my 2 later runs which i calculated should be on at the same time! ha bloody ha...i arrived at Orsett at 12noon (took an hour) not to do my first run until 3.45pm! i didnt stay for my second run as i had to get back to the oldies...then i saw the traffic for the Dartford crossing!! ahhh ended up coming home the long way round but at least i kept moving all the way...in the end i had done a complete circuit of the m25 for 1 agility run!!! am i insane or just too addicted to agility or just plain bloody stupid!! answers on a postcard please!! lol

2 camping shows coming up cant wait...will be great to get away for a bit...

Hoochies Groomers is picking up too and am having a steady intack of new clients!!
