WBSDS

WBSDS is a huge show and really too big for my likeing...sat we didnt have any runs but instead i scrimed for Ian which for me to concentrate on one person all day was a challenge!! jane will verify this as i have an attention span of a nat! it was good fun though and would do it again...again we had lovely weather still cold at night but not as bad as last weekend!

Sunday Hooch had 3 runs...first g3-5 jumping...a blast of a course only 6 weaves but alot of switching behind the dog (which eleanor says i love!) lol...anyway Hooch had one wide turn but apart from that was clear and i managed to get in the right place for a change...we came 4th and was only beaten by g5 dogs (who are now all g6) so very pleased with him...

Next was the agility g3-5 again i worked Hooch contacts and surprisingly he got them all he would have gone clear but unfortunately the ground was really wet and slippery and we had done dog walk jump then weaves to the right...i slipped backwards and hooch got a 5R at the weaves even though it was my fault but pleased that he did the 12 weaves...

Finally we had the graded 3-5 jumping...very tight course jumps were so close to each other i prefer a more spread out course so the dog can pick up speed....we also had cloth tunnel then tyre (2 obstacles i have had problems with over the last week) but had no problems all there was was weaves...long jump and finish! of course we were clear up tot the last weave pole where hooch popped out...im obviously doing something but dont know what yet so got eliminated! ahhhh overall i was pleased with him as he has picked up speed and getting more confident....coooolll

Cola also had an allsorts run and loved it so im now going to enter her in a g6 jumping and see how she gets on...watch this space! lol

Wallingford show

Lovely weekend...sooo pleased i decided to take my caravan for a hols!! lol...the nights were freezing though...literally... Hoochi had no runs on sat so we just chilled and annoyed everyone! hee hee

Sun we had the 4/5 jumping...Hoochi did a lovely run and would have come 4th but one jump from the end he went under the tyre! yes under it...but i was really pleased with him...next of course was the 4/5 agility and guess what the last obstacle was the tyre! ha ha...no worries as we have no contacts at the mo so i knew we wouldnt go clear...he did some lovely work and did the tyre so i was pleased....next was the teams!! i was 3rd to run and Sara had gone clear, then Debs went clear and i went clear and poor Ryan all the pressure was on him...and Fizz missed the weave entry so we only ended up with 5 faults so i was very pleased with all dogs...fab to do teams as it is great fun...

WBSDS next weekend! back to boring Newbury...unfortunately i have to keep Cola on a lead in the exercise areas as she wants to go hunting and its just too near the M4 for my stress levels....

Big news though Cola did the allsorts this weekend and loved it...lovely clear in 21 secs so she still has the speed just cant do agility...but well see how she goes this year...

Hoochies Groomers

I have now finished my dog grooming level 2 course...so am now armed and ready for action!! so all you hairy mutts out there that need a bath or just need a spring clip just let me know....just dont look at Hooch as an example as he has had a severe haircut! lol...mainly because he hates being brushed and this clip will last all the summer!! lol lol...pls be nice to him when you see him and no laughing behind his back he is a very sensitive soul!

I have named my business after Hooch though as he was my inspiration for starting this new venture...thanks to all my friends and family that donated to purchasing my grooming equipment it is much appreciated and i wouldnt b able to do this without you :)

Birthday Meal!

Thanks everyone for coming to me bday bash...great fun and lovely company, meal and of course pressies!!!

OMG im 40!!

Ha ha you are never too old to have candles and a birthday cake!! lol

Went to a lovely pub the Cricketers in Cobham with my sis, bro and his fiance....had a nice meal and of course pressieeees...my sis bought me a grooming table! fab...i know its probably not on everyone wish list! lol

Tomorrow its another birthday...18 of us mainly agility friends are going to a local pub for a meal and drinks...cant wait to catch up with everyone...ill update with photos later!

Also got a text today from my best friend who now lives in NZ who is also 40 this year and is coming to the UK in May for 2 months! yipppeee we can all celebrate again on her birthday....she is more mature than me though with a hubbie and 2 georgous kids! lol

Hoochie wins G4 Jumping!

Hoochi won G4 Jumping today at Easter Celebration but more importantly he won an easter egg for his mummy! (lol Soph!!)

Now all i need to get sorted are his contacts! He did some nice work in his other runs but still along way to go to getting a clear in agility!

Well done to Ryan Hennessey with all his wins this weekend! and all his easter eggs!! his sisters will be his best friends now! lol You are definately now in G4!
