Fat boy is getting thinner! lol

Woohooo...went and weighed Hoochi at vets today and hes lost 0.5 kilos in just over a week...he now weighs 5.1kg still needs to loose another 0.5kilos but hes going the right direction! no more cream cakes...lol

Hoochi has been getting better and better...phew..there was me thinking i may loose him or he might have a lifetime of worrying drugs...he is enjoying his walks again and playing tuggie with me and chasing deer! so hes def feeling better (wouldnt put him back on steriods ever if i had the choice)...he went back training on thurs at north downs and i was apprehensive but he did enjoy himself so contact training is back on!! lol...

meanwhile he has had a haircut and keeping to his diet! lol well i am keeping score on what i am feeding him now...everything halfed so hopefully wont take long to get him fitter...

Peps being 10yrs now is slowing up on walks but still manages to jump up people to say hello!! will never sort that one out...cant teach an old dog new tricks! lol well thats my excuse...

Cola is also on a diet as both my mum and dad said they thought she was fat!! i can feel all her ribs but she could loose a little...she met a lovely 4 month old whippet x vizla today...she tried to bite his bum but he was too fast for her !! lol...she loves to chase and in the end quite liked him!

quick update...spoke to Joao today (specialist) and he says Hooch has to loose weight about a kilo to help with his breathing....once he has done this this might rectifying his issue altogether!! otherwise can b fixed with surgury but there are complications with this kind of op...its to do with the soft palette and where the nose passage meets the back of the mouth! so fat boy is on a diet....

he went training last night for the first time since beg of Dec and he loved it....i was crap but thats no news! lol lets hope this year is a good year for him!

Fab news

Well Hoochi went to see the cardio specialist yesterday at north downs referrals...he saw a lovely portuguse vet who Hooch really liked! after a 45mins consultation, i left Hooch in their capable hands and returned within the hour to find the vet walking towards me saying great news!! this is not what i was expecting as my vet had said he def had a heart condition and would b on drugs for the rest of his life! well hooch's heart was normal, absolutely nothing wrong with it at all...this was great news as he wouldnt be reliant on drugs for the rest of his life...the only down side now is we dont know what is causing his wheezing...

Bath time!

It was time to give Cola a bath as she was starting to smell!! all that dirty water she goes in! lol she is lovely and white now but it wont last for long! Hoochi got a haircut too! Peps will be next...shes just a bit big to get in the bath....
