I dont class Hooch as a small dog as to me he has such a big personality that i forget sometimes how small he actually is....well that was obvious this morning when i let 2 of my dogs out to do pennies at 7am...on flexiiss...Hooch normally goes out after Peps and Cola...anyway they came back in i shut the door and went to feed them...now it is semi dark still at this time! i put Hooch dog bowl down not expecting him to eat his breakfast as now and again he has a rubbly tummy during the night which means he wont eat his breakfast...so i go back upstairs...and realise 'where is Hooch!!' put the light on no sign of him....somehow he had shot out the door when i opened it for the other two! (now i have a double door system so that this doesnt happen) anyway ran downstairs...opened the door and called him...he came flying round the houses and straight indoors...phew as i have a car park out the front (i live in a cul d sac) i was lucky that he wasn't squashed! Poor little man stuck outside in the cold and dark!! :)
Im always being told by Eleanor at training to bend down...but he is a long way down for me! lol...bless him think my next dog should have been a greyhound!
